These two are just too adorable together. Such typical girls- having fun playing dress up, babies, barbies, house, and all sorts of imaginative games. I'm so thankful that Claire has a friend (and cousin) her age who lives right next door!
I found this recipe on Pinterest awhile ago, and it seriously is the best. It's easy and the cookies turn out perfectly soft. These two absolutely LOVE them.

*1/2 tsp. salt
*1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

4. Once chilled, dough will be slightly crumbly, but will come together as you work it in your hands. Drop 1 tbsp. balls onto cookie sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes Remove and let cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes. Transfer to cooking rack.
5. Cookies stay soft and fresh for up to 10 days in an airtight container.
It was another cloudy, cool day here. Perfect time to break out the $7.00 bubble machine that kept the kiddos entertained for hours!
I think it's safe to say that we really like visiting American Girl. :) I don't know exactly what makes it so magical and fun for girls (and moms). Maybe it's all the pink, or the cute chairs/cups/saucers for their dolls; perhaps it's even the waitresses who go out of their way to make the little girls feel like a million bucks. Whatever the case, it really is a fun place to spend some time with my little bear (and whoever else we bring along with us)!

Claire's last day of school was this past Thursday. The weather here had been awful: rainy, windy, and blah. Since Ben wasn't able to plant (and feeling rather frustrated with the weather), we decided a little mini getaway to celebrate the end of the school year was just what we all needed. So we picked Claire up from school, then stopped and picked up her cousins, and headed up to Minneapolis/Mall of America for a couple days of FUN!
