This past Sunday, we lost a very dear woman. Jean Lukensmeyer was incredibly sweet, humble, encouraging, hard working, and God fearing. What a blessing she was to the Hampton Gospel Hall, and to each one of us individually. She knew of Claire's love of crafting-and never one to let anything go to waste, Jean was constantly bringing her stickers, coloring books, stamps, or anything else she would come across that she thought Claire would like. Anytime she came across a bat and ball or anything with tractors on it, she brought it for Max. She got so much joy out of simply watching Grace and all of her antics...and loved when Grace would give her a quiet "hi Aunt Jean".
She never missed an opportunity to share the gospel with those around her, and the last thing she was doing was taking a family to gospel meeting. She was passionate about finding and bringing kids to Sunday school. She really was a woman after God's own heart, and such a wonderful example for us all. We will miss her greatly, but would never wish her back from enjoying the splendors of heaven!
