Our kids love parades. Grace just enjoys watching everything go by, and Claire and Max think having candy thrown at them is pretty fantastic. At the end of June our town hosts the "Greene River Days"- a few days filled with various activities for families, including a parade. This was bittersweet as Tessa was still in the hospital at that point- so while I enjoyed watching the 3 bigger kids having fun, I was still missing her. The 4th of July parade was much better, as she was finally home with us and we could all be together.
Tessa's first 4th of July, and her first parade...which she slept through.
Claire was so excited that she was sitting next to a dog (would've been nice if he was facing the other way for this picture)
The 4th was cool and cloudy, but we still enjoyed swimming, jet skiing, a bonfire, sparklers, and watching fireworks from the boat.
