Summer Farewell :(

It's been a busy, but wonderful summer and I am so sad to see it come to an end. Technically speaking, summer is still here (especially with the super hot weather we'll be having this week). Starting tomorrow, however, Claire will be in school every day and that signals the end of carefree summer fun. To celebrate our last day of freedom, we decided to take out the tube for a morning float down the river. We packed drinks, lunches, toys, and tunes and set off for a "relaxing" 2 hour excursion. What we didn't realize, however, was that the wind wasn't in our favor. It kept pushing us back up the river or stalling the tube from moving at all! Poor hubs had to get out and force our tube in the right direction for an hour and a half. His legs were a little tired by the time we reached home! We still managed to have a good time, however, and enjoyed being together.
