Celebrating Claire {Take 1}

This year was Claire's golden birthday- she turned 7 on August 7th. So naturally, some extra special celebrations were in order. She was in need of a desk and new bedding, so while she had a "sleepover" in Max's room, we set everything up in her room. She had no idea any of this was happening, so it was pretty fun to watch her open the door to her room the next morning.

She had been wanting a bed for her American girl doll, and I had scored this set before Christmas last year when the Today show had those crazy awesome deals going on. Worked out perfectly...and now there's a nice open spot in my closet where that big old box had been residing for months. Can't say that I miss it.

The rest of the day was spent doing what she loves: swimming, boating, riding her new scooter, eating her favorite pasta outside, and topping it all off with some ice cream cake. Golden birthdays are pretty awesome.
