DIY Eggs

02 April

These two eggs are so cute, but also so simple and cheap to make! Here are the easy peasy directions:
Materials needed for paper egg:  Disposable gloves (if you'd like to keep your hands clean), Mod Podge, plastic egg, sponge brush, scrapbook paper cut up into small squares
Step 1: Brush Mod Podge onto egg and stick paper to it, overlapping the pieces.

Step 2: Once the egg is covered in paper, brush Mod Podge over the entire egg and smooth down any bumps with your hands. All done! Like I said, EASY. :)

Materials needed for twine egg: Large piece of twine (it's surprising how much you need to cover one egg), plastic egg, tacky glue, hot glue gun and ribbon for decorating.
Step 1: Begin by wrapping twine in a circle using glue and then attach it to the bottom of the egg.

Step 2: Tightly wrap twine around egg, adding lots of glue as you go.  Wrap until entire egg is covered and cut off any extra twine. Decorate with hot glue and ribbon. That's it!
