These two are just too adorable together. Such typical girls- having fun playing dress up, babies, barbies, house, and all sorts of imaginative games. I'm so thankful that Claire has a friend (and cousin) her age who lives right next door!
I found this recipe on Pinterest awhile ago, and it seriously is the best. It's easy and the cookies turn out perfectly soft. These two absolutely LOVE them.

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie
Ingredients:
*3/4 cup (1.5 sticks) unsalted butter, softened to room temp.
*3/4 cup dark brown sugar
*1/4 cup sugar
*1 large egg, at room temp.
*2 tsp. vanilla extract
*2 cups all-purpose flour
*2 tsp. cornstarch
*1 tsp. baking soda
*1/2 tsp. salt
*1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Line an ungreased cookie sheet with parchment paper or silpat. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy and light in color. Mix in egg and vanilla. Scrape bowl as needed. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix into the wet ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
3. Preheat oven to 350F.
4. Once chilled, dough will be slightly crumbly, but will come together as you work it in your hands. Drop 1 tbsp. balls onto cookie sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes Remove and let cool on cookie sheet for 3 minutes. Transfer to cooking rack.
5. Cookies stay soft and fresh for up to 10 days in an airtight container.
