Before I know it, winter will be here.  If it's a "normal" Iowa winter, I will be house-bound for approximately 4 months.  It's usually below zero, with negative wind chills that freeze your nose hairs, and everything is snow-covered.  BLEH.  I'm all for a little bit of snowfall before Christmas to get into the holiday spirit, but when January rolls around and all the fun of the holiday season is over, I would also like winter to be over.  Unfortunately, Iowa winters stick around until the end of March.  So before all of that happens, I am going to soak up every last bit of outside play time that we have!

These nasty little bugs are EVERYWHERE.  Yuck.
