First and Last Days
05 June
It's hard to believe that another school year has gone by- and that next year both Claire and Max will be in school full time! This year, the last day of school was a pretty sad day. Our sweet little school, that is a perfect 3 minutes away, is being closed. We are combining with another town 10 minutes away, and using their elementary school. I'm trying very hard to find the positives in this situation, as I really loved our school: the staff, the location, and the size were all amazing. I also did my student teaching assignment and substituted many days there, so it had a lot of sentimental value as well. Claire and Max feel a little nervous about the new school, but are glad that their friends and teachers will be there. The new school has a large wooden playground, so there's that at least...
We are thankful for the three wonderful years we were able to enjoy at our elementary school, and will pray for the changes ahead.

Seriously, why do they have to look so much bigger?! :(
There really isn't a more loving, nurturing, caring, and enthusiastic pre-k teacher out there. Mrs. Landers is the absolute perfect 1st teacher for children and I can't even tell you how thankful I am that she will still be the pre-k teacher at the new school. I just have to pray she sticks around for all of my babies!

Will pray that the transition in the Fall goes smoothly!
We will be in a similar situation, as we moved & the kids will be in the same district, but new school ... always some unease... but the Lord has our back & we got this, mama :) XO
Thanks Alison! :) I'll be praying for your kiddos too!
