Future Chef

Claire absolutely loves helping out in the kitchen. Max likes making cookies or cakes (because he can lick the beaters and spoons when we finish) but wasn't interested in helping with strawberry jam this year. So while he and Grace napped, Claire and I listened to the Disney station on Pandora while immersing ourselves in the messiness that is jam-making. She was such a huge help-willing to do each and every job that I gave her, never complaining, and stuck with it all the way until the end.

{Mom confession: I turned on Pandora in the hopes that it would distract Claire from her non-stop chatter for at least a few minutes. Seriously, that child didn't stop talking for the 3 hours it took us to make the jam.}
