Our day at the apple orchard resulted in a very large bag of apples just waiting to be baked into something delicious. One way to use up most of those apples? Homemade applesauce. And a cinnamon apple cake to enjoy while you wait.
My wonderful photographer and friend, Jenny, took these pictures a couple weeks ago. I love looking at them. It makes me realize how very blessed I am to have two healthy, beautiful, fun, loving children and one more on the way. They keep me busy, make messes everywhere, and can sometimes frustrate me and try my patience- but I wouldn't trade them, or my role as their mom, for the whole world.
Max and I do a little bit of "school work" every morning. We do simple activities with the alphabet, counting, shapes, colors, etc... I did this with Claire too, and let me just say-
they are OPPOSITES.
Claire loved (and still does) doing school work, and would try her hardest, and enjoyed all of the little activities. Max is happy for the first two activities, and then he's done. He just rushes through his work so he can be finished with it.
IT DRIVES ME CRAZY.
I can't imagine what a full day in preschool will be like for him next year. His poor teacher.
Oh well, I'll just keep trying to break him in!
