Sunday School Picnic

Last Saturday was our annual Sunday school picnic in Hampton. This year's theme was "The Armor of God". We had fabulous weather, a lot of excited kids, and one injury.  Poor Claire broke her nose after she collided with Max's head. She handled it well, and thankfully her nose was still straight. Her main concern was that everyone would laugh at her bruised and swollen nose, but we were so happy that it wasn't very noticeable by her first day of school!     



I told her she could just wear this mask to school to hide her nose, but she wasn't too crazy about that idea. 











Grace was doing good until she spilled water out of her helmet during this game.  And then it all fell apart.  





(This was before the broken nose. But right where she is was where it all went down. I have a feeling she might avoid the inflatables at next year's picnic.)

    Wait... broken nose!?! What!?! Poor Claire!!
    The picnic theme and games looked amazing though! What a great team ya'll have there!! So fun!! PS Those candy guessing games are my fave!

      I know, right?! She came out of the inflatable with blood everywhere. 😳 So crazy. We're just so thankful it was still straight and the swelling came down after a few days, so nothing needed to be done.
      And I agree...the guessing games are always a hit!
