Life Lately
21 January
Ben was in Chicago for a few days and the kids were so incredibly happy to have him back (as was I). We all miss him when he's gone!
The kids had a "snow day" on Friday (the snow didn't even come until 3:00...so they totally could've gone all day🙄). Since there wasn't any snow to play in outside, they made a huge town in the basement.
Ben picked Max up later in the day and he learned how to work the controls in the backhoe. He was pretty excited about it.
On Saturday we headed to an open house for a friend's new airport location. We probably overstayed our welcome as the kids kept climbing in and out of the planes, played hide and seek all throughout the airport and offices, and made forts out of boxes. 🤦🏽♀️
After the open house, we brought a couple friends back with us for the rest of the day. They played inside, they played outside, they played their little hearts out.
Tessa LOVES the snow. And I seriously can't even stand the cuteness that are tiny snow boots and snow pants. She was basically a human marshmallow- but she was warm and would've stayed out there all day if we let her.
