Friday Favorites

Favorite picture:
These two get along so well.  They are willing to play each other's crazy/silly games and Claire manages to keep up with Max's excessive amounts of energy.
My younger two need to take some lessons from them. 😬

Favorite kid quote:
Max: "Summer is the best.  No school, you get to stay up late, and you get ice cream sandwiches."  #9yearoldpriorities

Favorite clothing item:
I'm currently telling anyone who is willing to listen (as well as people who don't want to listen) about how much I love these shorts.
They are cute, comfy, breezy, and just all around wonderful.
And right now they're only $12. I may or may not have almost every single color. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Favorite food:
Johnson's Popcorn in OCNJ is our favorite.  We brought a supply back home with us, but it's dwindling. Good thing they ship.😏

Favorite verse:
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me."  Psalms 51:10

Favorite moment:
The town where we go to church has a big fair and parade each year. This year we did a "Noah's ark" theme for the parade, and had such a good time!

Tess loved watching the cheerleaders while we were waiting for the parade to start.
This is summertime Noah.  Also comedic Noah, as he kept the kids laughing the whole time.
Max declared this to be the "best parade job ever".  It was so hot that the crowd was begging to get soaked.  He happily obliged.
Tess thought her job was pretty great too- checking out each piece of candy before chucking it out the window.

Favorite mom meme:
My sister-in-law and I attended a Lauren Daigle concert while we were in NJ. Before we left for said concert, however, we bathed all the kids, got them all dressed and ready for the boardwalk, made sure they had what they needed for the evening, and set out all their pj's for bedtime.
Basically, we did all the hard stuff.
But really, it just makes it easier for everyone involved. 😉
