Tennessee Part 4- Dolly Parton's Stampede

29 July

We felt like we should probably do some type of Dolly Parton activity while in Tennessee.

Enter: the Dolly Parton Stampede.
We enjoyed an ENORMOUS amount of southern food (think: an entire rotisserie chicken per person) and an endless supply of sweet tea while watching fascinating horse stunts, all kinds of animal appearances, magic tricks, pig races, singing, dancing and constant entertainment.
All the basic necessities for keeping kids happy and content during dinnertime.👌🏼

We were competing against the other side of the arena (they were the north, we were the south), and although these girls enthusiastically waved their flags to support our side, we still lost.😔

After the show the kids were able to get their flags signed and pet one of the horses. It was a great time!
