Tennessee Part 5- Cabin Life

30 July

The cabin we stayed in was big enough to hold all of us: 8 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, a movie theater, a hot tub, two dining tables, games, and an incredible view.  It was so much fun to stay in, but there were definitely a few hiccups that would prevent me from recommending this cabin to anyone.
1- The "cleaning crew" for this house was made up of 1 man, 1 woman, and child.  And this was not their only cabin to clean.  They were still cleaning after check-in time, so obviously the place did not get a thorough cleaning before we arrived.
2-There were quite a few maintenance problems with it.
3- The maintenance man showed up unannounced at midnight one night, in the middle of a storm.🤔 Thankfully we were all awake, and could laugh about it, but seriously....holy creepiness.😳
This cabin would be incredible if it had proper upkeep.  But we were there to be together and have a good time, and that's exactly what we did.  And the kids absolutely LOVED the house and weren't bothered at all that the kitchen fridge wasn't cold.

Whenever we were looking for Grace, 99% of the time she was racing. Future Danica Patrick?

The original seven.
Life with this crew was never boring.

True teamwork right here.

We hired a professional photographer to come and take pictures at the cabin while we were there.

And although I was sweating like I had just run up an entire mountain, and one particular child was being very uncooperative,
I'm so thankful we did these pictures!
It's not easy getting this whole group together, and the pictures turned out so good.

That's a wrap on my very lengthy Tennessee recap.
This trip was everything I hoped it would be.  Full of new adventures, endless amounts of laughter, and a whole lot of fun.
And I can't wait to do it again.
