Harry Potter Party

 As I have mentioned before, I love Harry Potter.  
We read chapter books with the big kids every night, and they finally agreed to read the Harry Potter series a few months ago. 
And now they too have become fans of that little boy wizard.  
When I asked Claire what theme she wanted for her birthday, her response was quick: Harry Potter. 
🙌🏼 
 She was desperately in need of a new bike, so she woke up to this surprise in the morning. 
 She took it for a little spin around the house (thank you, open floor plan)
 and then stopped for some birthday pancakes.  
 Then we put the finishing touches on her party decor. 





 It didn't take the boys long to begin sword fighting with their wands.  
 And then some princesses joined us. 
 The party included some necklace making, 
 swimming, 



picture taking, 

 paddle boarding, 

 Bean-boozle playing, 
and lots of tubing. 



 We finished off the beautiful, fun, busy day with ice cream cake and presents.  
And our new 11 year old went to bed feeling very happy.💗
